I'll bet you love solving mysteries almost as much as I do. Well, I have finally solved one that should lower
my golf score. Interested? I'll bet you are.
The other day I went to my local golf shop, The World of Golf, to try out some new putters as I always do
before I buy the putter for my monthly contest winner. Well, John, the store manager recommended I try the
club he uses, the Heavy Putter from Boccieri Golf. When I picked up the putter I immediately felt it was all
wrong. It felt more like a weapon than a putter. Boy was I wrong.
Now, I'm no great ball striker on the green, so when i knocked in my first 8 putts in a row from about 9 feet, I
was amazed. I was so enthused I questioned John about the putter company. To my delight, Boccieri Golf's
headquarters is only half an hour from my house. After speaking with Steve Boccieri, the owner of the
company and the inventor of the Heavy Putter, I took a ride to his offices. Well, during a long conversation
about potential mutual marketing ideas, Steve nonchalantly picked up a Heavy Putter, and while still talking
to me, he leaned over and putted one ball. After an 18 foot ride on his indoor green, the ball dropped in the
hole. Then, just as nonchalantly, Steve put the putter back on the rack while continuing his conversation.
Mind you -I don't believe for a second that he was showing off, and I won't dare tell you that it was all
because of his amazing technology, but I believe the sheer confidence in the man comes from his absolute
confidence in his putter technology. Bottom line - You have to try the Heavy Putter to believe it. Starting in
